The Cover – Soft and Strengthened
The journal has a Smyth-Sewn cover. The cover is nicely fitted with a London grey linen finish feeling soft when you carry it around and stays flat when you writing in it. According to the manufacturer, the inspiration was from the Smyth sewing of the books in the library of congress.
Easy to use – The journal can actually flap to one side for comfortable writing despite the cover being extra strengthened. The strong smooth binding at the base also ensures that the journal stays together after using for a long time.
The Pages – Height Paper Quality and Density
The fine-grain acid-free papers are 100 GSM thick. These paper can handle any type of pen, pencil or ink without spillage. The fine thick paper also feels nice to write and sketch on and the fine grain accommodates the ink well without fading. Made just strong enough to write on and light enough to flip through comfortably.
Soft round edges. The other Pad and Quill journal page spectacle are the softly rounded paper edges that allow you to maintain the journal tidy and attractive. The edge cannot bend hen held between papers keeping the journal in good shape.

The pages are actually well numbered and jotting a topic and a page number on the table of content after your last writing is very easy. The journal has 2 ribbon bookmarks strengthened and long enough allowing you to pin multiple pages for easy reference.
