Top 10 Cars Under the Humble Price of $50,000
Ebay sells nearly anything you could think of; from clothes to movies, dryers to textbooks. Essentially whatever you are in the market for, Ebay has it in some form. One of the more popular items sold through their website are super cars. No I’m not talking the family-friendly movie with Larry the Cable Guy, I’m talking real, derivable, beautiful luxury cars. You’d be surprised the prices that some of these vehicles jump to (or drive to, I suppose). However, we live in an economy where money cannot be spent just willy nilly. So we have to stay within the realm of reason when looking at these super cars. As such, I’ve developed a list of the top 10 cars all under the premium fee of $50,000
Bentley Continental GT
This silver beast can clock at speeds up to 200 miles per hour. It boasts a comfortable design and subtly pleasing colors. It looks expertly put together for even the most sophisticated of businessmen. Definitely one of the more refined looking super cars on this list. Aston Martin V8 Vantage
This Martin was made with the present in mind. More sleek and contemporary than the GT, this vehicle looks ready to move fast and furious. For the amount of money, you’d be hard pressed to find a better bang for your buck.
Ferrari 456 GT
Definitely not the most eye-catching vehicle on this list, the Ferrari 456 GT relies more on functionality rather than appearance altogether. The niche about this super car is that it requires no reconditioning, and can be driven on an everyday basis. Just imagine being able to say to your friends, “I drive a Ferrari every single day.”
I have to be honest, I’m not a huge fan of this one. To me, it seems like a poor man’s attempt at combining the best parts about various super cars and slapping them together. Despite that, it’s still a great value. The makers put an insane amount of attention to detail in this model, and even attached turbochargers to it. Not the greatest in my book, but still worth considering nonetheless.
As soon as I heard the name for this super car, it’s quite sad that I thought of the popular racing game (although I suppose that’s because that was the only game my uncle and I would play together growing up). Playstation games aside, the Maserati is one of the better looking cars I found. It looks like it’s ready to begin a race in one of my childhood video games. Just make sure you have the funds to support it, as it rides awfully close to the $50,000 limit.
This is a great example of taking the best qualities of multiple things and putting them in a mixing pot. The Pantera combines a sexy Italian body with the heavy power of a Ford engine. You can’t go wrong with that.
Ferrari 328 GTSI Quattrovalvole
This Ferrari is a little outdated, I’ll admit. But it’s shape and low mileage are what scores it so high on this list. Even for an 80s car, it still looks like it would fit well in the busiest of cities, perhaps even pretty enough for a billionare playboy philanthropist.
Dodge Viper GTS
I drool every time I see this muscle car. It is impossible to mimic the general feeling of awesomeness and power when driving a Viper. You’ll be every man’s dream in this mean machine.
Lotus Esprit V8
The Lotus Esprit V8 is living proof that Britain knows how to make amazing cars. 8 cylinders, 2 turbos, just everything screams yes. It may not be the most reliable car on this list, but it still claws it’s way to the second spot.
This is the lord of all beautiful $50,000 super cars. It is like the greatest wonder in the Acura world. You can get a very similar car with a lot of mileage for less than half of the cost of this one, but trust me, the extra money is worth it. This powerful monster of a vehicle will last you a very long time, and you can even drive it every day. Shut up and take my money.
